On this one the pile is laid in on every fourth pick so it hardly shows on the reverse. Norwegian warp, Hebridean weft, Gotland locks for pile.

ReplyDeleteDo you use whole locks for your pile, or do you separate into outer & under coats? How much (by weight) wool do you need for the pile for a cloak?
